Serves 8-10 (4 cups relish)
- 4 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup chopped dried apricots
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons grated orange peel
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted
- In a large saucepan, combine the first six relish ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat; simmer for 25-30 minutes or until thickened.
- Stir in almonds. Slice ham; serve with the relish.
