Apple Raisin Relish

Serves 8-10 (4 cups relish)


  • 4 medium tart apples, peeled and chopped
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup chopped dried apricots
  • 1 cup golden raisins
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons grated orange peel
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted


  • In a large saucepan, combine the first six relish ingredients. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  • Reduce heat; simmer for 25-30 minutes or until thickened.
  • Stir in almonds. Slice ham; serve with the relish.
